SLS Nylon Lynx 2.1 Turnaround

This turnaround is intended for the Orion Blasters Lynx 2.1 and features updated o-ring groove geometry to improve the reliability of your Lynx.  Each turnaround includes:

  • Qty 1 -123 x-ring
  • Qty 2 -016 o-rings

This turnaround is compatible with both our SLS Nylon Ram and the standard adjustable ram in your Lynx 2.1. 

Plunger tube installation requires significant x-ring compression. You may need a small blunt probe or stylus to gently work the x-ring into the tube. Make sure you do not press on the x-ring with sharp objects or it may tear during installation. 

Barrel installation can also be a challenge. We find that it's easiest to press down firmly on the barrel with the turnaround resting on a firm, flat surface. Gentle taps with a soft-faced mallet may be necessary, but take care to avoid side loading the parts.

Turnaround+pusher combination

the quality is good.

I was warned that barrel installation would be a challenge similarly to the plunger tube. And that's fair I read the warning and I accepted that. However the barrel o rings get eaten up by the barrel while installing, something that doesn't happen on the FDM turnaround. But fair atleast it works and has a perfect seal.

However, that can't be said about the airbreak and the pusher.

They both don't fit, simple as that, your o rings will get stuck even if the tension screw isn't tightened at all. I was told I had to let it sit for a while, (it was not specificed anywhere on the site as of writing) so I did, the airbreak ring I just removed entirely because that just wouldn't fit at all. The pusher however is a funny story

I also bought the SLS 2.1 pusher, I inserted it into the turnaround and couldn't get it out of the turnaround, it was stuck.. so I waited a day, pulled it back out and broke the pusher.

Overall my experience isn't great with this product, maybe the sls machine heath tolerances weren't done properly, I don't know, I'm just kinda sad that it turned out this way.
