Machined Spirit/T19 wheels

These wheels are designed for the Spirit, T19, and other blasters that use the 50.5mm OD hycon profile. They feature a 7mm circular crush for high performance and are the lightest wheels in their class on the market. At just over 8g each, these have less rotational inertia than even the lightest printed wheels, maximizing spinup performance without compromise.

 

These are designed for Plus Motors by Kelly Industries. Please ensure that your mounting screws do not contact the stator by manually rotating the wheels to check for interference before powering them up for the first time. M3x5mm screws are recommended for mounting.

Roboman does it again!

These wheels are very lightweight and very balanced, and as a result they spin up more quickly than any alternative I've seen. I measured them at 8.17g (compared to 10-14g for printed wheels or 26g for delrin wheels). They move a lot of air and consequently are very loud if you do not enclose them, however they are balanced very well so the noise is a more manageable air noise rather than a mechanical vibration. I highly recommend these wheels for experienced Spirit or Spirit-derivative builders.
